I am very glad to hear from you in USA, There are about 2 millions Zhang(章)?people in?China?. There are also some Zhang(章) people in South Korea, Singpore, and Malaysia etc.
There are about 4,000 Zhang(章) people in South Korea, their ancestor moved to there in the end of Nan Song dynasty. they have delegation come to China twice in 2008.
Zhang(章) family is from Yan Emperor, then many years passed by, one ancestor is called Lv Shang, also named Jiangshang(姜太公), He is the prime minister of Zhou dynasty, his grandson was awarded Zhang(鄣) kingdom. which is located in Shangdong province now.
In 664 BC, Qi kingdom invade Zhang kingdom(Qi was also one of Jiangshang's grandson), Zhang (鄣) kingdom was destroyed and died. the brother of Zhang (鄣)?emperor flee away and moved to Liangzhou,Shanxi province.(Hanzhong,Shanxi now).he changed he family name?Zhang (鄣) to Zhang(章),then Zhang(章) begins from that time.
Many years passed by, In the end of Tang dynasty, Zhang Zhijun, who is defend the north?of Fujian province, and His wife Lian?saved?lives of one town people (about 100 thousands). her great action moved all the people at that time.
Zhang zhijun, and his wife Lian have 15 sons, 68 grandsons. as per our file, now Zhang(章) of 99% are their decendants.

太傅公存鈞 is wrong, you know, 仔钧 is similiar as 存鈞 in Chinese handwritting. so you took??仔钧 for 存鈞.

I came from HongKong to America in the 1970s. My family is the descendant of 仁 政, and we belongs to the 龍 巖 branch. Then later on moved to 廣 東, mainly in 廣 州.
I never meet any 章 other than my own family and people from the news.
I do not find any information on the web page about the recent generations in 廣東.
Can you guide me where to find them?
